FAQs

How is it organized?

Alliance4action (a4a) is guided by a leadership committee consisting of Chair, Executive Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Chair, Communications Chair and a representative from each Action Group.  Although we are not an official Indivisible Group, we generally follow the principles outlined at https://www.indivisibleguide.com, a national how-to manual.  We hold one open to the public general meeting each month, September through May, plus Action Group meetings.

What are the action groups?

a4a has five action groups:

What actions are we taking?

We have called our representatives, sent e-mails and faxes, written columns and Letters to the Editor and met with our Members of Congress and their staff.  We held a rally in Green Valley on Jan. 21, 2016 to coincide with the national Women’s Marches.  We had around 500 attendees on a cold and blustery day. Our second rally was on April 15,2016, a warm Tax Day and around 225 people participated in “Show Us Your Taxes”.  Several other rallies have been organized since then.  We have approximately 600 members on our mailing list.
